Home Crow's Nest Laleham House Barbican

Accessibility

Laleham House is on Garrett Street, a short distance up from the Halfway House. Garrett Street is one way for traffic so if you are driving, once past the Halfway House pub drive slowly and look for some double wraught iron gates on your right as the house is the first one past these gates.

The entrance is up 3 granite steps from the road and once inside, as with a lot of period houses in this part of Cornwall, each room is on a slightly different level, meaning that there are a number of steps to negotiate so not really appropriate for wheelchair users or for people who find steps and stairs difficult.

At the rear of the property is a paved courtyard area with outside shower for rinsing sand and wetsuits. There is also a garden terrace above with sea views and access to this area is via quite steep steps so please be careful and it is not suitable for children to play up there unsupervised.

Car Parking - There is a large public car park at the Cawsand end of the village. It is pay-'n-display and will cost in the region of £28 for a weekly ticket and is a 5 minute walk away. There is Skinners car park which is closer at the bottom of Fore Street and is £25 per week but space is limited. Alternatively, you may be able to find free roadside parking but the few available spots are keenly sought after.
